Andrea has been passionate about connecting industry and government organizations since she began her career with the United States Navy in San Diego, California.

After developing her skills as an unlimited warranted contracting officer, she relocated to Maine where she was the Director of the Contracting & Logistics Department at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. In this role, she oversaw a multi-million dollar portfolio of service and supply contracts supporting critical US Defense priorities.

From there, with her passion for helping people, she joined the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center as the Deputy Director for Small Business Programs at Hanscom AFB. In this role, she aligned mission priorities with industry capabilities to maximize warfighter effectiveness. Shortly after joining, she became the Director for Small Business Programs, ensuring small and non-traditional defense companies had an opportunity in the multi-billion dollar contract portfolio. Through relationships with academia, the SBA and program office staff, under Andrea’s leadership the program offices awarded over $1B in contracts annually to small business concerns.

Andrea’s experience working with government and industry makes her uniquely suited to assist businesses interested in the GovCon market. Whether through the SBIR/STTR program, OTAs or traditional firm fixed price or cost contracts, Andrea can help identify a strategy to win. covers direct operation and management of several closely held government contractors. 

Andrea earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively, from the University of San Diego and the University of New Hampshire.
